VooPoo PnP X Coils

VooPoo PnP X coils are mesh replacement coils for the newer Drag and Argus Pro kits. They fit the Drag X2, Drag S2, Drag X3, Drag S3, and Argus Pro 2. Four resistances from 0.15Ω through to 0.6Ω cover DTL and RDL vaping.

These aren't the same as standard PnP coils. The PnP X range uses a 4-layer leak-resistant seal and thermo-stable cotton rated for up to 100ml of e-liquid per coil. They press-fit in the same way as standard PnP coils, but they only work with the newer kits listed above.

PnP X Coil Resistances

Most people go for 0.3Ω. It runs at 32 to 40W, handles 50/50 e-liquids and high VG shor t fills without any issues, and you're not burning through the battery the way you do on the 0.15Ω.

The 0.6Ω tightens everything up at 20 to 28W. That's the one for nic salts at 10mg or 20mg where you don't want a load of vapour. On the other end, the 0.2Ω (40 to 60W) and 0.15Ω (60 to 80W) are your cloud coils. Warmer vape, more vapour, but they'll only wick properly with high VG e-liquid.

All four are mesh coils with the same 4-layer seal and thermo-stable cotton. The difference is wattage range and draw tightness.

PnP X vs Standard PnP Coils

This is where people get confused. The PnP X coils look similar and press-fit the same way, but they're a different platform. You can't swap between the two.

If you've got an original Drag X or Drag S, you need standard VooPoo PnP Coils, not PnP X. The PnP X coils won't fit those kits.

Do VooPoo PnP X coils fit the Drag X?

No. The original Drag X uses standard PnP coils, not PnP X. The PnP X coils only fit the Drag X2, S2, X3, S3, and Argus Pro 2. Check which Drag kit you've got before ordering.

What's the difference between PnP and PnP X coils?

Different platforms for different kits. PnP X coils have a 4-layer leak seal and thermo-stable cotton rated for 100ml. Standard PnP coils have a single seal and standard cotton. They press-fit the same way but aren't cross-compatible.

Is there a 0.8Ω or 1.0Ω PnP X coil?

No. The PnP X range only comes in 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, 0.3Ω, and 0.6Ω. If you need 0.8Ω or 1.0Ω, those are available in the standard PnP coil range for older VooPoo kits.

Which PnP X coil is best for nic salts?

The 0.6Ω at 20 to 28W. It gives you a tighter RDL draw and lower vapour output, so higher strength nic salts at 10mg or 20mg don't feel harsh. The 0.3Ω works too at 32 to 40W if you want a slightly looser pull.

Is there a PnP X RBA coil?

Yes, VooPoo sells a PnP X RBA coil separately. It lets you build your own coils in the PnP X pod tank. It's a niche product and not something most vapers need, but it's there if you want it.

How long do VooPoo PnP X coils last?

VooPoo rates the thermo-stable cotton for up to 100ml of e-liquid. In practice it depends on your e-liquid and wattage. Sweeter flavours gunk the coil faster. High VG at lower wattage tends to get the longest life out of them.
