Khonsu SBS+ Stabwood Limited Edition

Sixteen Khonsu SBS+ mods, each one faced in a different piece of stabilised wood, so the mod you pick is the only one of its kind. The frame, the chip and the battery are the same as the standard Khonsu SBS+, an Evolv DNA60c board up to 60W on a single 21700 in brushed stainless steel. What changes is the panel.

Pieces are listed by number, 1 to 16, and every number has its own photograph. What you see on the listing is the mod that gets packed. Each number is a single mod, so there is nothing behind it that looks the same.

Stabwood Mods

Stabwood is timber soaked in resin under vacuum and then cured hard, which is what lets a soft piece of burl survive being cut into a mod panel and handled every day. The grain, the burl eyes and the colour are whatever that piece of wood happened to do, and the resin fixes it there. Across these sixteen there are pale oatmeal burls, deep reds and chestnuts, one that is almost black, two tone panels where dark burl meets gold, and a deep purple. Our other stabwood mod, the Vaperz Cloud XR-80 Stabwood, is a boro AIO rather than a 510 mod.

DNA60c Mod

The Evolv DNA60c board covers wattage up to 60W and full temperature control with nickel, titanium and stainless steel coils. Replay is the one most owners buy a DNA60c for: take the puff you liked, lock it, and the board reproduces that same puff from a cold coil or a warm one. Plug the mod into EScribe on a computer and the power curves, the screen layout and the temperature settings are all yours to set, and firmware goes on the same way. The rest of our high end vape mods sit alongside it.

21700 SBS Mod

A single 21700 cell sits beside the atomiser rather than under it, which is what keeps a side by side mod short enough to palm. The 21700 is the reason to take the SBS+ over the 18650 SBS, since the larger cell holds more and gets you further between charges, and the adapter in the box drops an 18650 in when that is what you have charged. A 21700 is not supplied, so pair it with a Vapcell P42A 21700 or a cell you already trust.

Picking a Number

Every panel is photographed on its own, so work through the numbers and take the one you like the look of. There is no grading between them and no number costs more than another, because the wood is the only thing that separates them. The hardware inside number 3 is the hardware inside number 14, and both are built to the same spec as every other Khonsu Tech mod we carry.
