The Geekvape Aegis Solo 5 is a 100 watt box mod that takes one 21700 or 18650 battery.

It is a single battery Geekvape mod in our Geekvape Aegis range, IP68 rated for water, dust and shock, with a 1.08 inch screen, Smart and Power modes and A-Lock with a status indicator.

This is the mod only, with a 510 connection for the tank of your choice. It works as a 21700 vape mod or an 18650 mod, so you can use whichever battery you already have.

21700 or 18650 Battery

The Aegis Solo 5 mod takes one external 21700 or 18650 battery, and unlike the Solo 3 there is no built-in battery version. A 21700 fits straight in, and the 18650 to 21700 adapter in the box holds an 18650 in place. Batteries are not included, and our 21700 batteries work in it.

IP68 Waterproof, Dustproof and Shockproof

IP68 makes the Aegis Solo 5 a waterproof vape mod. On the mod only, the rating covers 1.5m of water for 30 minutes, up to 80kg of impact and dust down to 75 microns. The part that matters most when you fit your own tank is the reinforced 510 connection, which Geekvape rate to 80kg of impact, so the thread holds if the tank takes a knock. The USB-C port, battery door and A-Lock are sealed too.

Smart Mode, Power Mode and A-Lock

Whatever tank you put on it, Smart Mode reads the coil and sets a suitable power range, so you do not need to look up the wattage for each coil. Switch to Power Mode to pick your own setting anywhere from 5W to 100W. Once it is set, the button lock stops the wattage changing in a pocket, and A-Lock has a status indicator.

Which Tank Fits the Aegis Solo 5 Mod

Any 510 tank screws on. Geekvape pair it with the Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank 5, the same tank that comes in the kit.

Most of our sub ohm tanks fit it too, as long as the tank has a 510 thread.

If you want the tank in the box, the Aegis Solo 5 kit comes with the Z Subohm Tank 5 and two Z XM Boost coils.

Aegis Solo 5 vs Solo 3 Mod

Both mods are 100W, IP68 and charge at 5V 2A. Against the Solo 3 mod, the Solo 5 mod brings:

• 21700 and 18650 (was 18650)
• A-Lock with status light (was touch lock)
• 1.08 inch screen (was 0.96 inch)

The Aegis Solo 3 mod is the one it follows.
