Rayden 100 V3 IM Vape Kit

This is the limited edition kit from BD Vape. They have made 3000 of the Rayden 100 V3 IM worldwide, in a red and gold finish with a moulded faceplate, and once they are gone that is the end of it. Underneath the paint, it is the Rayden 100 people already know, which is the point.

The mod goes to 100W on a single 21700 or an 18650, with five power modes and a 1.05 inch colour screen you can put your own pictures on. The chipset is the XT Ultra GT 100 V1.1 and it updates from a PC, so it does not go stale the week after you buy it.

It comes with the Blaster 2 Sub-Ohm tank and three BDC coils, so it is ready to go with the addition of a shortfill e-liquid and a battery that are not included.

The XT Ultra GT 100 V1.1 Chipset

BD Vape have put a scalable chip in this one and given it a PC interface, so firmware goes on from a laptop rather than waiting for the next model. That is unusual at this end of the market and it is the reason a Rayden holds its value.

Five Power Modes

Power mode splits five ways, MTL, Soft, Norm, Hard and Pro, so the same coil can be tuned from a gentle ramp to an instant hit without touching the wattage.

Voltage and Bypass sit alongside them for anyone who prefers to work that way, which is more control than most vape mods at this size offer.

Coils from 0.1ohm to 3.5ohm are all inside its range.

The Screen and Four Themes

A 1.05 inch HD TFT, which is a big colour screen for a tube style mod. Four theme sets come loaded: two Classic layouts in nine colours each, an IM set with four animations and three wallpapers, and a Custom slot where you upload up to five of your own images from a PC.

Making It Yours

The custom theme and the firmware both go on through the same PC connection via the USB-C cable in the box. Five images is enough for most people to never see a stock screen again, and it is the sort of thing that keeps a mod on the desk rather than in a drawer.

The Blaster 2 Sub-Ohm Tank

The tank in the box is the Blaster 2, BD Vape's rework of the original Blaster. It fills from the top under a lift off cap, the airflow adjusts at the top rather than the base, and a spare glass tube is included.

It takes Precisio glass tubes as well, so spares are easy, and it sits with the rest of our sub-ohm tanks for anything you want to put on it later.

Top Airflow

Air comes in at the top of the tank and travels down to the coil, which keeps the base sealed. On a sub ohm tank at these wattages that is the difference between a clean mod and a sticky one. The ring adjusts smoothly rather than clicking between fixed positions.

BDC Coils

Three coils come in the box, a 0.15ohm, a 0.3ohm and a 0.4ohm, covering roughly 40W up to 75W. They are the same BDC mesh coils the Precisio and the Blaster use, so one pack of spares covers every BD Vape tank we sell.

Battery and Charging

One 21700, or an 18650 with the adapter that comes in the box. Neither cell is included, so add a 21700 battery if you do not already have one. Charging is over USB-C, though an external charger is the better habit on any removable cell mod.

Limited to 3000

Three thousand units for the whole world, numbered as a limited edition. BD Vape have done this before, and the earlier Rayden limited editions did not come back, so if you want it, it is a now decision rather than a later one.

If you would rather have the mod without the paint or the limit on it, the standard Rayden 100 Mod stays in the range and takes the same tanks and coils.
