SMOK Novo 6

The SMOK Novo 6 is a compact pod kit with a 1700mAh built-in battery, 5 to 40W variable wattage, and a 0.96 inch TFT colour screen. It runs on inhale activation with a single button for power and menu controls, and has a stepless airflow slider on the side. Part of the Novo family and the step up from the Novo 5.

Two 0.6 ohm SMOK Novo 5 pods come in the box (one pre-installed), both with built-in mesh coils and 2ml TPD capacity. Top fill through a spring-loaded port without removing the pod from the kit. The 0.6 ohm resistance covers both MTL and RDL depending on where you set the airflow and wattage, with SMOK recommending 18W as the sweet spot. A 0.7 ohm meshed MTL pod is also available separately for a tighter draw at around 16W. Pairs with 50/50 e-liquids and nic salts across the range.

Variable Wattage and Screen

The 0.96 inch screen shows your current wattage, coil resistance, puff count, and battery level. Double-click the button to adjust wattage between 5 and 40W. Lower wattages give a cooler, tighter MTL draw with less vapour. Higher wattages warm things up and push the 0.6 ohm coils into RDL territory.

Three screen themes and two animation effects let you change the look of the display. Triple-click the button to access the menu for theme and animation settings, or long press for puff reminder setup. Five clicks turns the kit on or off.

Novo 5 Pod Compatibility

The Novo 6 takes the full SMOK Novo 5 pod range. Two 0.6 ohm mesh pods are included in the TPD kit (2ml capacity, one pre-installed). The 0.6 ohm sits in the middle ground between MTL and RDL. Close the airflow down and drop the wattage for a tight draw around 15W, or open it up and push towards 30W for a looser pull.

A 0.7 ohm meshed MTL pod is available separately if you want a tighter draw focused on flavour. SMOK recommend 16W as the best wattage for the 0.7 ohm. Both pods use built-in mesh coils with extra oil-absorbing cotton at the base and a higher silicone seal to reduce leaking.

We'd recommend 50/50 e-liquids or nic salts for the best wicking on these pods.

Battery and Charging

The 1700mAh battery handles a full day of moderate MTL use. Heavier vapers or anyone running at 30 to 40W will get through most of a day before needing to charge. USB-C at 5V/2A tops it up quickly and the screen shows your remaining battery so you can keep track.

Airflow

The stepless airflow slider sits on the side of the kit. Slide it closed for a tight MTL draw that concentrates flavour with minimal vapour. Open it up for a looser RDL pull with more cloud. The Novo 6 won't give you a full DTL experience at this wattage, but the RDL setting with the airflow open is noticeably airier than a standard MTL pod kit.
