Big Puff Vapes
Big puff vapes used to be sold under the counter and weren’t always legal in the UK. But that’s changed. As the vape scene grew, many brands started making TPD-compliant versions that follow UK rules.
You can still buy most of your favourite big puff vapes until June 1st, 2025. After that, the original versions won’t be allowed. The good news is many top-selling big puff vapes will still be available, just with a few small changes to meet regulations. They’ll still offer the same flavours and long-lasting puff counts.

Prefilled Vape Kit
You might be wondering, what’s the difference between a prefilled pod vape and a prefilled vape kit? The truth is, the term "prefilled vape kit" is quite broad. It can refer to both big puff vapes and disposable vape alternatives.
If you’re unsure what type of vape to go for after the disposable vape ban, this collection is a great place to start. Every product here is TPD compliant and will still be available after June 1st, 2025. So when you find a flavour and device you love, you’ll know you can keep buying it without worrying about future bans or changes.

Disposable Vape Ban FAQ's
What is the disposable vape ban in the UK?
The UK government has announced a ban on the sale and supply of single-use, disposable vapes, effective from 1 June 2025. This measure aims to address environmental concerns and reduce youth vaping.
Why is the government banning disposable vapes?
Disposable vapes contribute significantly to environmental waste, with millions being discarded weekly. Additionally, there's growing concern over their appeal to young people, leading to increased usage among minors.
Which vape products are affected by the ban?
The ban targets single-use vapes that are neither rechargeable nor refillable. To be considered reusable and thus exempt from the ban, a vape must have a rechargeable battery and be refillable with e-liquid.
What should retailers do with existing stock of disposable vapes?
Retailers are advised to cease purchasing new stock and sell through existing inventory before 1 June 2025. Any remaining stock after this date must be disposed of responsibly, adhering to waste electrical and electronic equipment regulations.
Are there alternatives to disposable vapes?
Yes, reusable vapes with rechargeable batteries and refillable pods or tanks remain available, and the new prefilled vape kits and refill pod plus disposable alternatives. These options are more environmentally friendly and cost-effective in the long run.
Can I still use disposable vapes after the ban starts?
You won’t be breaking the law by using one you already have, but you won’t be able to buy new disposable vapes in the UK after 1 June 2025.
Will disposables be banned in all parts of the UK?
Yes, the ban covers England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each nation will enforce it through its own local authorities.
Will any brands be exempt from the ban?
No. The ban applies to all brands that manufacture or sell non-refillable, non-rechargeable disposable vapes, regardless of how well-known they are.
Will the ban affect disposables sold online?
Yes, the ban applies to all UK sales, including online retailers. Once the ban is in effect, online stores will no longer be allowed to sell disposable vapes to UK customers.
Will this lead to price increases for other vape products?
Not necessarily. While reusable devices have a higher upfront cost, they are more economical in the long run. The overall market is expected to adjust naturally.
