Dead Rabbit Mini RDL RTA

Hellvape have built the Dead Rabbit at every size going, and the one gap in the line was a single coil tank made for restricted direct lung. The Mini RTA fills it. At 23.5mm across and 43g it is the smallest tank in the family, and the whole thing is aimed at one draw style rather than trying to cover all of them.

The starting point is the deck. One coil, a full honeycomb airflow ring underneath it, and a chamber squeezed in tight above so nothing has far to travel. It is the same thinking behind the rebuildable tanks that flavour chasers keep coming back to, only shrunk down.

UK stock is the TPD build, so the glass fills to 2ml rather than the 3.5ml Hellvape quote elsewhere. Everything else about it is unchanged.

Full Honeycomb Airflow

Air arrives at the coil through a ring of small holes rather than one or two slots. Spreading it out that way means the coil sees an even feed across its whole length instead of a jet hitting one spot, which is what keeps an RDL draw smooth rather than whistling. Close the ring down and it tightens without ever going harsh.

Top to Bottom Airflow

Air comes in at the top, drops down the outside of the chamber and turns up into the coil. Nothing enters at the base, which is where tanks usually weep when they sit in a bag or get left on their side overnight. It is the same fix Hellvape put on the bigger Dead Rabbit 4 RTA Pro, brought down to this size.

A Single Coil Build

Seven parts, and the deck takes one coil. Hellvape put a 0.37ohm Ni80 Clapton in the box to start you off, and after that anything in the same ballpark from our premade and handmade coils will sit in it. The cutting tool trims the legs flush once the coil is clamped, so there is nothing left to catch on the chamber.

The Diamond in the Top Cap

A cut stone sits in the top cap, catching the light against the machined rings. It does nothing for the vape and Hellvape are not pretending otherwise, but on a tank this small it is the detail people notice first, and it is not something you see on the rest of our vape tanks.

Where It Sits in the Range

Hellvape split the current Dead Rabbit tanks three ways by draw. The 4 RTA Pro is the direct lung one, the Mini is the RDL one, and the Dead Rabbit MTL RTA V2 is the tight mouth to lung one. Pick by how you like to draw and the rest follows.

What to Fill It With

RDL on a single coil around 0.3 to 0.5ohm suits 3mg and 6mg shortfill e-liquids, and a 70/30 base wicks through the honeycomb without flooding it. Nic salts are the wrong fit here, they are built for the tighter draw of a pod.

Colours

Seven: Matte Stainless Steel, Gunmetal, Matte Black, Matte Full Black, Black Gold, Blue and Rainbow. Each one carries the crossed axe rabbit etched into the glass, and the drip tip is matched to the finish rather than left black on every colour.

If you want the deck without the tank around it, the Dead Rabbit Mini RDA is the dripper version at the same width.
