Caliburn G4 Pod Kit

The Uwell Caliburn G4 runs on a 1300mAh battery with an OLED screen and adjustable output from 5W to 35W. Two vaping modes, Storm and Waves, change the power delivery to suit how you vape. It's a refillable pod kit with both button fire and auto-draw built in.

You get a 0.4Ω and 0.9Ω GPP pod in the box, both top-fill with built-in mesh coils. The Caliburn G4 also takes G3 pods if you've got spares from an older kit. Eight colours to pick from, and it handles nic salts and 50/50 f r eebase across the full pod range.

Storm Mode and Waves Mode

Storm Mode pushes harder from the start of your draw for a stronger throat hit and more vapour. Waves Mode ramps up gradually for a smoother pull that's easier on battery life.

Switch between them with the button controls. Storm works well at higher wattages with the 0.4Ω pod. Waves pairs better with the higher resistance pods at lower wattages for MTL.

Once you're in wattage mode, press the button to step through 5W to 35W. The OLED screen shows your current wattage, battery level, and puff count at a glance.

GPP and G3 Pod Compatibility

The Caliburn G4 takes the full Caliburn GPP pod range plus older G3 pods.

All pods click straight in with built-in mesh coils. No separate coil swaps needed. The 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods suit RDL with the airflow open. The 0.8Ω and above suit MTL with the airflow tightened up.

Airflow and Reversible Pod

The airflow slider on the body controls draw tightness. On top of that, you can flip the pod around in the kit to change the airflow path. Combine both and you get four airflow setups from tight MTL through to open RDL.

Why Choose the Caliburn G4?

If you're coming from prefilled pods or a basic pod kit, the G4 gives you proper control without overcomplicating things. You've got wattage adjustment, two vaping modes, and a full airflow system, but it's still pocket-sized and works on auto-draw if you don't want to touch the button.

The GPP pod range means you're not stuck with one or two resistances either. You can start on the 0.9Ω for a tighter draw and move to the 0.4Ω later if you want more vapour. Same kit, no upgrades needed.

What's the difference between Storm and Waves mode on the Caliburn G4?

Storm hits harder from the first second of your draw. More vapour, stronger throat hits. Waves build up slowly for a gentler pull. Try Storm with the 0.4Ω pod and Waves with 0.8Ω or above.

Does the Caliburn G4 take G3 pods?

Yes. Both GPP and G3 pods fit the Caliburn G4. If you've got G3 pods left over from an older Caliburn kit they'll work fine.

When did the Caliburn G4 come out?

Mid 2024. The G4 Pro came along about a year later with a touchscreen and bigger battery, but the standard G4 is still in the lineup.

How do you fill the Caliburn G4 pods?

Pop the pod out, open the rubber cap on top, and fill it up. Give it two minutes before you vape so the cotton inside the coil has time to soak through.

What's the difference between the Caliburn G4 and G4 Pro?

Bigger battery (1800mAh vs 1300mAh), full colour touchscreen instead of the OLED, and you get custom power curves and themes on the Pro. Same GPP pods on both though, so your pods carry over if you upgrade.

Is the Caliburn G4 MTL or RDL?

Both. Tighten the airflow and use 0.8Ω or higher for MTL. Open it up with the 0.4Ω pod for RDL. Flipping the pod around gives you extra airflow options too.
