Hammerhand V3R Mech Mod

The Hammerhand V3R is a bottom-fire mechanical mod machined from Navi Brass and finished by hand in Cerakote. There is no chipset inside it and no screen to read. Press the switch and the battery is connected straight to your build, which is the whole point of a mech and the reason it needs a builder who knows what they are doing.

Bottom Fire Switch

The switch is a flat engraved disc set into the knurled base of the tube. You wrap your hand around the body and press it with a finger curled underneath, rather than reaching for a bar on the side. If you prefer a side-fire bar, the Rock Mods Swordfish V2 covers that layout.

Navi Brass and Cerakote

Brass carries current well and holds up to being stripped and cleaned, which is why mechs are built from it. The Cerakote on the outside is a ceramic coating applied by hand, so it resists knocks and the pattern varies from piece to piece. Five finishes: Black, Alien, RocketBunny, Thrasher and Andromeda, all Rock Mods pattern names rather than licensed designs.

21700 Battery

A single 21700 cell, with no charging port on the mod, so it comes out and goes into an external charger. A high-drain cell such as the Vapcell P42A 21700 is the right sort of thing to pair with it.

Check the wrap for nicks every time the cell goes in and rewrap at the first sign of damage. Our battery and coil safety guide covers the handling and charging side.

Atomiser Fit

It is a hybrid connection, so only fit an atomiser whose 510 pin clearly stands proud of its threads. The top suits atomisers in the 24mm to 25mm range, which covers most single and dual coil RDA tanks without overhang.

Building for a Mech

Nothing sits between the battery and your coils, so the build decides everything and there is no cut-off to catch a mistake. Meter every build before it goes on the mod and keep the amp draw well inside the continuous discharge rating of your cell.
