I love this way of thinking. Too often, you see the same old flavours being pumped out by the big e-liquid brands trying to capitalise on the Bar Juice scene, and while Drop does create some of these timeless flavours, they’re not afraid to buck the trend and inject some excitement into the scene.

Sometimes experiments can go awry, but not here. These Bar Juice flavour profiles of these unique flavours are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Drop's Bar Juice flavours are perfectly sweet, mixed to a 50VG/50PG ratio, which is great for MTL (Mouth to Lung) vaping, and the smooth and punchy nic salt formula provides such a satisfying experience from inhale to exhale. These Bar Juice e-liquids also come in 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg nicotine strengths, and I was so glad to see the inclusion of a 5 mg option, as 10 is just a little too strong for me.

My Favourite Bar Drop Flavours

• Blueberry Cotton Candy - I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so this Bar Juice blend caught my eye immediately. Sweet blueberries peppered a delightfully fluffy candy floss taste that took me back to visiting the fair as a child.

• Passionfruit Orange Guava - I normally see passionfruit and guava paired, but the introduction of orange to this Bar Juice mix was the addition I didn’t know I needed. A tropical explosion hit my taste buds, but it was coated in a beautiful orangey layer, and honestly? I couldn’t get enough.

• Strawberry Peach Plum Ice - Another pairing I often see, strawberry and peach go very well together, but the inclusion of plum’s sweet and tart profile elevated this Bar Juice to a chilled fruity treat, and I savoured every puff.

• Sakura Grape - This is the one that got me very excited. I love floral notes in most things, from tea to cakes, so blending sakura's unique and subtle floral sweetness with sweet grapes seemed like a great idea. And oh boy, it was, as it provided a delicate, sweet, and sophisticated flavour profile. A phenomenal Bar Juice on every level.

Ohm Brew is another brand that likes to think outside the box. Starting in 2017 in Belfast, this UK company mixes passion with quality to produce e-liquids that excel in flavour, smoothness, and unique Bar Juice flavours you won’t find anywhere else.

Their Ohm Brew Double Brew 10 ml Bar Juice nic salts come in a staggering 36 different flavours, including classics like Blue Razz Lemonade and unique ones like Apple Muffin. These unique flavours really sold me on the Ohm Brew Bar Juice e-liquids, as they were like nothing I’ve ever tasted in a nic salt before.

Available in 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg nicotine strengths, I was once again pleased to see the 5 mg option. They understand that not everyone wants a strong nicotine hit, and the 5 mg e-liquid provided a mellow and enjoyable experience.

As the name suggests, the Bar Juice e-liquids have also been brewed at double concentration to mimic the intense flavour and sweetness of disposables, and this really does come through well. The flavours I tried were powerful and never dipped in intensity.

My Favourite Ohm Brew Double Brew Flavours

• Apple Muffin - I didn’t think it was possible, but Ohm Brew made this Bar Juice taste exactly like an apple muffin. Freshly baked muffins burst through, and the swirl of crisp, sweet apples was sublime.

• J. Fruit - A classic bubblegum flavour was shot through with a fruity twist, and this invoked a very specific memory of my mum slipping me a stick of Juicy Fruit bubblegum while we were on the train when I was a kid. I do love it when tastes bring a nostalgia kick.

• Strawberry Custard Deluxe - My sweet tooth went nuts for this. Super sweet strawberries were swirled through rich and creamy custard and I felt like I should be pouring it over a slice of light sponge cake.

• Coco Lime - Now I’m not usually a big fan of coconut, except in a Bounty bar (fight me, they're delicious) but this one surprised me. The unmistakable taste of coconut was there, but mixed with the zingy taste of lime? I think I might be a convert.

Ecigone’s most popular e-liquid brand, and possibly the most popular one in the UK, Elux, is known for excellent disposable products such as the Elux Cyberover 6k. They’ve brought those tried-and-tested flavours over to their very own Bar Juice line: Elux Legend.

The likes of Lemon & Lime and Cherry Ice are there ,amongst others, so disposable lovers will feel right at home with this line of products.

I was sad to see that this collection of Bar Juice only came in 10 mg and 20 mg nicotine strength options, so I went with the 10 mg nic salts. While obviously stronger than the 5 mg ones I’ve tried from other brands, they were smooth and provided a very satisfying vape indeed.

My Favourite Elux Legend Flavours

• Tiger Blood - One of Elux’s unique flavours, the crisp watermelon and sweet strawberry flavours of this Bar Juice were excellent, but it was the unexpected coconut notes and icy finish that really put the proverbial cherry on top of this Bar Juice for me.

• Fizzy Cherry - What a delight. It was as if I was puffing out my favourite pick ‘n’ mix sweet (next to fizzy cola bottles of course). A fizzy tingle hit my tongue as I held it in my mouth, which quickly developed into a sweet cherry flavour as I began to exhale this excellent Bar Juice.

• Pink Lemonade - Possibly my favourite of the lot, it burst with sweet fruitiness while the summery vibe of lemonade wrapped it up in a neat bow. Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.

• Lemon Peach Passionfruit - Hoowee, this one was a true taste bud sensation. The exotic passionfruit was exciting, and then came delicate notes of peach and a final zap of zesty lemon for a truly tropical Bar Juice flavour.

The biggest UK Bar Juice brand, Bar Juice’s Bar Juice 5000 range sports one of the widest flavour selections and nicotine strength ranges I’ve ever seen in a 10 ml nic salt. They’re committed to helping vapers move away from disposables and onto nic salts without giving up the flavours they love.

Bar Juice 5000 is also extremely environmentally conscious. They are committed to being a low-carbon footprint brand, with their e-liquids equalling the use of five disposable vapes. Seeing a company push the importance of reducing electronic waste is commendable, especially since, in 2023 alone, an estimated five million disposable vapes were thrown away in the UK every week.

My Favourite Bar Juice 5000 Flavours

• Blueberry Pomegranate - Anything with blueberry in is a winner in my book, and this Bar Juice blend didn’t disappoint. Sweet blueberry, sour pomegranate, it was a battle on my taste buds that resulted in a truly harmonious vape.

• Butter Mints - Remember Werther’s Originals, and other buttery boiled sweets of that ilk? Yeah, this is that, just in Bar Juice form. Silky and sweet with a cool edge, it reminded me of my neighbour handing me one over the fence when I was playing in the garden as a kid. If you couldn’t tell, I’m a bit of a nostalgia nut.

• Grape - Not much to say here other than I have never enjoyed a grape experience more. It brings that old-time grape soda vibe that I absolutely adore. I half expected the vapour to be purple. Now there’s an idea...

• Unicorn Shake - I’m a sweet toothed king and Unicorn Shake’s whipped marshmallow, fruity loop cereal and milky berry banana shake profile had me reminiscing about watching Saturday morning cartoons with a massive bowl of Cinnamon Grahams.

Of course, the big boys of the disposable game had to get in on the Bar Juice scene. My Favourite ElfLIQ Flavours

• Pink Grapefruit - Call me weird, but I love a pink grapefruit for breakfast on occasion. This Bar Juice was bursting with that slightly sweet and very sour citrus flavour that I personally adore.

• Pineapple Mango Orange - Orange goes great in a lot of things (especially a chocolate orange - thank you Terry’s), but it goes best with the tropical powerhouses of pineapple and mango. This Bar Juice's sweet, tangy and velvety tones were all wrapped up in a delightful orange exterior that I couldn’t get enough of.

• Watermelon - A pure and simple watermelon Bar Juice flavour absolutely dripping with juiciness. There’s not much more to say about it really, other than it was one of the best watermelon flavours I’ve ever had.

• Blackcurrant Aniseed - I always feel like aniseed is a bit of an acquired taste, but when paired with the tart and sweet flavour of juicy blackcurrant it really brought out the delicate, slightly spicy notes that aniseed brings, and this Bar Juice definitely had my taste buds doing back flips. Hmm, back flipping taste buds might not be normal actually. Should probably get that checked...
