5% of the post codes in the country, mainly rural, Amazon have a partnership in place with the RM which will mean that for these areas a RM48 label will be printed. - If this is the case, we will contact you.
Other post codes returning a slower label is because Amazon ops have 'padded' certain parts of the network. This is where the system used to monitor the level of traffic in the network prints slower labels to avoid failing to guarantee our promise of next day delivery to certain post codes in coverage.
This could also be because certain line hauls or sort centres are close to capacity so we begin to slow the traffic to those locations to avoid a wider escalation.
